Vanda orchids love sunlight. Place them in a location where they receive direct sunlight for a few hours in the morning, but protect them with light shade between 12 pm and 4 pm. When the sun goes down again in the evening, they can receive direct sunlight once more.

Vanda orchids need frequent watering in hot/dry climates. Gray or white roots indicate a need for water; green roots mean they don't need watering. During the dry season, water in the morning and evening, making sure the roots are thoroughly wet. During the rainy season, water less frequently.

Vanda orchids need regular feeding. Water the roots first until they turn green. Use a balanced fertilizer (20-20-20) diluted to half the recommended strength every week during the growing season. In winter, reduce the frequency to once a month.

By following these steps, your Vanda orchid will grow and flourish. With proper care, they can bloom up to THREE times a year!
